The east basestone is a larger stone. Its weight is estimated to be at least a few hundred pounds, or 90 kilograms. It is one of two basestones unearthed at the Garden Site, during the 2025 phase1 dig. Early on, a tin cover was installed to protect the site from the weather. Unfortunately, the cover stops direct light from shining on it; and so, I am not able to ‘read’ the stone.
