The Etched Stone Series

Projecting anything modern onto these ancient people would be doing a disservice to their legacy. They were more advanced, on most levels, than the man that walks the Earth today.

The Etched Stone Series is as welcoming to the IndianRock.art line-up as an early morning cup of Joe. Enjoy these findings as soon as I discover them. 🙂

Mammoth Stone

IndianRock.art Mammoth Stone – IndianRock.art authenticated, rss, cni, ultra rare, flawless, ultra-premium grade, multiple images of Pleistocene megafauna and human profile w/feathered headdress

If the Pleistocene period spans from about 2.5 million years ago to around 12,000 years ago, I think it’s safe to say this specimen was carved out before 10,000 BC.

An image is worth a thousand words.

Sacred Ritual Burial Inset Stones

IndianRock.art Burial Inset Stones – IndianRock.art authenticated, rss, cni, ultra-rare, premium grade

The discovery of carved stones, linked to ancient human burial traditions, marks the beginning of the Phase #2 archaeological dig, at IndianRock.art. Welcome to my world. Relax, grab a beverage, and enjoy the ride. It’ll take three years to complete this task.

We were an advanced civil society. We were not savages. We were people: fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters. We were family. – We were spiritual. We were creative. We were industrious. We carried the knowledge of the Earth and of the heavens. – This knowledge of the way is shining once again, leading us towards the salvation of the collective soul. See the light.

Jesus Christ and the path are not controlled by any establishment. Jesus Christ is for everyone, as is salvation. This includes the Indigenous Tribes of the United States of America: the scattered & wandering children of these ancient stone carvers. ‘I feel you, brothers and sisters.’ Look to the heart. Seek inward and raise the inner Christ. Be the essence of the One. Build Christ’ church, within. Be the light.

Bird Stone

IndianRock.art Bird Stone – IndianRock.art authenticated, rss, cni, rare, flawless, medium grade

A soaring theme at IndianRock.art is proudly represented in the stones that pay homage to God’ winged creatures: the birds.

The vultures reign over the area. I call to them and wave. They always acknowledge my efforts by slowing their glide or circling back. I love them for that. Recently, the crows have been investigating the curious forest dweller that speaks to the vultures. I have struck up a couple conversations with them. Thay are smart and inquisitive creatures: the crows. The songbirds come in closer than normal, as well. They pause and stare at me, as if to expect a song or maybe see me take to the wind. When I lose myself in their world, I do take flight. I think that I long for the freedom that birds enjoy.

Indianhead Stone

IndianRock.art Indianhead Stone – IndianRock.art authenticated, presumably undisturbed Indianhead Site, composition not identified, ultra-rare, flawless, ultra-premium, with stone tools, location of Chief/Chiefess Stone #1 discovery, mysterious unbelievable backstory

When the sun shines onto the stone, at a specific angle, details emerge that form the facial features, making this stone ‘come to life’. More than that though, this stone has an unusual water feature that makes it cry in the mornings, when the dew falls!

The nose and chin were exposed, protruding from the topsoil. When I removed the surrounding dirt, I uncovered, what appeared to be, three additional stones: two that were representative of a feather and one being the stone #CC1. The stone feather seemed to be pointing in a certain direction. I followed the imaginary line for about 30′, to a small outcropping. There, I uncovered the stone #CC2!

The Indianhead Stone is the center of the Indianhead Site, which has not been visited in about four years. I hope to get over there in order to apply a more knowledgeable angle on the unusual attributes of this stone, including the deep mortise carved into the top of the head that receives the #CC1 stone! Yeah, these ancient people were operating on a superior level of artisanship.

Bird Hatchling

IndianRock.art Bird Hatchling Stone – rss, cni, ultra-rare, flawless, premium grade, found at Castle Pines area, Colorado

This is the only stone from the Castle Pines, Colorado area. I installed a bunch a woodwork off of Happy Canyon Rd. I didn’t have any time to venture for stones, but I did discover this little gem. If you’ve ever held a helpless tiny creature that couldn’t support its own weight, then you know what it feels like to hold this stone. The bottom is cut to match the curvature of the holder’s palm. And yes, the left hand cradles the stone, as if to protect the baby bird. This is the only stone that I have parted with. I gave it to a fellow carpenter that told me some stories about how Jesus entered into his life. I did go to his church, one time. It was before I left Colorado. It was a fun service. I met a guy way shorter than me, that operates a boxing gym in the area. He was a cool-cat, for sure. I can’t remember the name of the church. I do remember that it was their last service before they moved to the new location. It was near Greenvalley Ranch, Aurora. I pray that they are growing in numbers and blessings, and that my carpenter friend is doing good. They were very nice to me.
