Controlling Tempo & Texture – There are set boundaries, formed with care and precision. Without them, humans would go astray. It is when these boundaries are hidden or manipulated, making them unrecognizable, that humans begin to create their own boundaries. At this point, as a collective, humans are in the mind. It is an egotistical loop, wrere the mind justifies its own actions: It feeds itself what it wants to eat, not what it needs. This is the shadow; or at least, the makings thereof. In meditation, one can see the thumping heart of this complex machine.

IndianRock.art Temple Site - After heavy rains washed away the topsoil, the clay underneath quickly followed. This item was discovered on the surface in between the IndianHead Site and the Temple Site. It is believed to be a percussion instrument: a beat maker. (An interesting fact: The massive logging trucks inadvertently created the perfect conditions for the erosion of the land; thereby, exposing what had been preserved in the clay for a very long time.)

Under the thin top layer, the composition of the soil at IndianRock.art is clay, clay, and still more clay. Clay is comprised of extremely fine particles, so small that, in some cases, oxygen can’t penetrate. This is the scientific premise to consider that supports the validity of the biological artifacts that are currently being posted. (Soil sampling is on the schedule, but the task isn’t currently funded. Your donation helps.)
